Instead of offering super-steep doorcrasher-deals this Black Friday, we are choosing to support an organization that uplifts our community. For our fourth annual Black Friday Weekend Fundraiser, we'll be donating a portion of every sale throughout the month of November, including 20% during Black Friday weekend, to Harmony Community Food Centre. Harmony CFC is an organization on a mission to provide equitable nutritious food to our East York community. 

Harmony CFC is a program of South Riverdale Community Health Centre, in partnership with Community Food Centres Canada. As a charitable organization, they believe that an equitable and just community is one where everyone can access nutritious, affordable, safe, and delicious food. They provide meals and programming for those lacking access to healthy and culturally relevant foods. 

As a small business with an emphasis on ethically- and sustainably-made products, we know that we can’t compete with big retailers when it comes to slashing prices for Black Friday weekend. Instead of encouraging over-consumption, we want to engage in community building.
